Domani 07/11/2018 in aula Seminari alle ore 14:15 nell’ambito di un ciclo di seminari interdisciplinari organizzati dai proff. Mario Castellana e Marco Mazzeo sulla epistemologia in meccanica quantistica, il prof. Gennaro Auletta del Dipartimento degli studi di Viterbo terrà un seminario dal titolo:

Quantum dynamics as entanglement of information and signals

Abstract

Quantum information can neither be cloned, nor deleted. When signals are sent, we have a source event and in most cases a reception (final) event. Although the dynamics between the two events is ruled by quantum--mechanical laws, the relation between the two events need to satisfy Lorentz transformations. Quantum events are the generators of the spacetime manifold. In the sphere around a quantum event with a ray of the size of Planck length, there is no spacetime but pure quantum information. Its surface represents the threshold after which a classical bit of information can be acquired, in agreement with the holographic principle.
