  07.06.2017 - Tracking in full stereo Drift Chambers for future collider experiments - Seminario

 Oggi, mercoledì 7, alle ore 15:00, in Aula “ F. Cesaroni”- Dipartimento di Matematica e Fisica “E. De Giorgi”, il Dott. F. Ignatov (Bunker Institute for Nuclear Physics in Novosibirsk, Russia) terrà un seminario dal titolo:
Tracking in full stereo Drift Chambers for future collider experiments

After the discovery of the Higgs boson and the actual SM measurements performed at LHC, the proposals for the future precision collider machines received a big boost, in particular the FCC-ee (The Future Circular electron positron Collider) is under studying at CERN and the CEPC (Circular electron positron Collider) is under studying by the Chinese high energy physics community.
For both the proposals one of the main choice for the detector experiment is an Italian proposal, called IDEA. After some preliminary consideration it was accepted by the community that one of the most promising choice for the central tracking detector is a high transparency and high granularity and full stereo drift chamber.
Some aspects of track finding and fitting and the achieved resolution with full detector simulation will be presented.
